Signature Programmes

Coaching. Talks. Seminars. Courses.

Training in thinking at the Thinking Centre is not usually done online only, though there will be an online-only programme available in July 2025. Most of the programmes involve interaction with specially trained facilitators or coaches because face-to-face learning offers unique and essential benefits. Face-to-face interaction with trained experts enables real-time observation and feedback that is difficult to replicate in a programme that does not include this kind of interaction. These experts pick up on cues in your thinking process that might not be apparent through online interactions alone - things like hesitations, emotional reactions, or unconscious biases that influence your thought patterns. The experts adapt their guidance based on your specific needs and learning style. Having an expert present also creates a safe space for challenging assumptions and testing new ways of thinking, helping manage the discomfort that often comes with examining and changing our thought patterns. The eight hour programmes are flexible and can be done in one, two or four sessions. The more comprehensive programmes run for several weeks part-time, with assessment conducted through oral evaluations, project work, and tests. They attract special certificates and detailed transcripts.

Common Sense at Work:

An Adaptable Programme

Common Sense at Work can be delivered as personal coaching sessions, an interactive seminar, or an in-depth workshop. The time frame is fully adaptable — it can be a short, sharp one-hour session to reset thinking, or a longer program spread over weeks to tackle deep-rooted workplace challenges. The structure and goals depend on what your team or organization needs most. Common Sense at Work matters In today’s world of policies, metrics, and complicated systems, we sometimes forget that good judgment and practical thinking — the core of common sense — keep organizations running smoothly. Common sense is what helps employees make safe, sensible choices when unexpected situations arise, rather than getting lost in overthinking or rigid rules. Common sense is also the foundation for better communication and teamwork. It helps colleagues see the bigger picture, avoid unnecessary conflict, and handle problems calmly before they grow. When leaders model common sense, they inspire trust and create workplaces where decisions are both smart and humane. Finally, common sense fuels efficiency. It’s what allows people to cut through noise, avoid costly mistakes, and spot the simplest solution when everyone else is looking for a complicated one. In an age of constant change, common sense is a powerful skill that every workplace needs more than ever.
