The Thinking Centre’s critical thinking courses are carefully designed, academically grounded and strongly focused on application. They are not courses in which participants merely read information, remember definitions and complete a test.

 

Participants are expected to examine ideas, analyse situations, question assumptions, evaluate possible explanations, and apply their learning to decisions and problems encountered in life and work.

 

Individualized attention is a defining feature of our courses. Many adult learners have told us that this is precisely what they find missing from conventional training.

 

We deeply respect our participants. No one will be left to struggle without appropriate guidance and support. Where needed and appropriate, optional clinics or individual consultations may also be offered.

 

We also believe that serious learning can—and should—be enjoyable. Our courses therefore include engaging stories, practical exercises, stimulating discussions and opportunities to explore ideas in ways that are both intellectually challenging and personally meaningful.
